The Visual Communication online degree program is designed to educate and develop artistic and imaginative students for careers in the fields of commercial art and design. Emphasis is placed on the development of the thinking process and the ability to conceive creative solutions for specified design problems. Students will learn the principles, practical applications and methodologies used in completing competent and creative graphic solutions.
All required graphics software is included in the cost of course materials, providing students with training in the latest design software necessary to pursue a chosen career upon completion of the degree program.
During the Digital Design curriculum, students will build a portfolio of projects from each of their courses. This final portfolio project allows students to build upon the skills learned in some of the required courses.
